Mounting hardware/directions: Includes hardware to mount to concrete/block wall. If mounting to wood/drywall, you will need lag screws and/or drywall anchors. Mounting holes are 3.5" apart on center (does not fit on a 2x4)
Love the wall rack. It was just what we needed in our garage to properly store our plates.
The mount comes with expansion screws, however, I chose to use lag screws instead with appropriate teeth depth to support much more than the maximum weight of the wall rack (large factor of safety). Additionally, I noticed that the mounting holes are 4 inches apart, which is wider than a standard stud (they ended up being on either side of the stud) so I ended up securing it against a 4x6 screwed into the stud.

Shipping was fast and the storage is a game changer. The installation was easy and the rack is very sturdy. I used tapcon screws and fender washers instead of the concrete anchors that were provided. I didn’t want to use the anchors provided because I didn’t want to drill that large of a hole in my foundation wall and it doesn’t budge. I have bought other products from homegrown and I’ve been extremely happy with everything. You just can’t beat these prices anywhere. Homegrown is by far the most bang for your buck, especially when it comes to bumper plates. I will continue to purchase from them.

I am slightly disappointed in this wall storage. It appears I need to anchor into my garage concrete flooring which I do not want to do. I also, would like to have vertical wall screws go into my stud vs horizontal screw holes. I will need to add a stringer to ensure this holds. More than likely, I will sell these and look for a different wall storage. However, the equipment appears to be strong and it is definitely more affordable than other options.
