Can’t be happier with purchase. Well worth it. Will be making future buys.
I love these plates! Great price
Great plates for the price. I am a huge fan of crumb rubber in general as they are rugged enough for most scenarios, and offers one of the best price to performance ratios for any weight. That being said, these are not the most ideal weights for the most abusive environments; if they are being thrown down regularly their collars will begin to loosen over time. But crumb rubber will cover 80% of all needs and use cases, and for most people, keeping more money in your pocket is the best long term conscientious decision; don't discount your future by spending money where you don't need to! The gains will come from the utilization of the weights not the weights themselves.
Great product!
Minor imperfections but nothing major. Love them
They are great
I had previously bought 4x 45lb, 2x 25lb, and 2x 10lb plates along with 2x 5lb and 2x 2.5lb change plates. These have been fantastic for my garage, but I had some reservations as to the lifespan of the 10lb plates since they were so thin and wobbly. As I have refined my workout routine, I realized that I could use another set of 10lb weights to fill in a few weight gaps. I was super excited to see the 10lb change plates and bought them without hesitation. I've had them now for a couple of weeks and am completely stoked about them. They are stout little things are holding up perfectly to being the only weight on the bar and not flexing under the stress of the 20kg bar being dropped. This is exactly what I wanted for my wife when she works out with me. These 10lb change plates are the same thickness as the 25lb plates and same diameter as the other change plates. TLDR: Great dime plates. No hesitation on recommending them to anyone.
These plates are high quality and amazing!
The hyper-thin 45lb weights are a must have for the home gym set up. High quality and saves on space in storage and on the bar. I especially like that they still bounce so you can use them on the floor.
I bought the ultimate home gym bundle, I had questions from the start of are they legit to can I sub out certain pieces of equipment for other pieces, well after 1 email I knew HGL was a legit place and a solid company. Making sure I was completely happy, HGL set up a phone call and I knew then I was done looking for gym equipment. They have the absolute best customer service I’ve ever seen. Shipping was very quick and everything came in perfect. HGL you all are a step above anyone both on a personal level and professional. Pricing is great compared to other companies as well. Duke (my puppy) loves HGL as well, so that should say all we need to know!
The one thing I didn’t cover in the video is specific to my set up but I have a 12inch loading pin and the sizing of the plates allow me to fit a good amount of weight on it
Just got my new URA-MAX Colored Bumper Plates. Why didn't I purchase these sooner?! Awesome plates at a great price. Such a good upgrade to my garage gym. So stoked! I highly recommend these plates. Looking forward to completing the set with a pair of 35s and 15s. The hyper-thin 45s are incredible.
They are very well made. I thought they would be made out of fiberglass or some light materials. These are tougher than I thought they would be. Im glad I bought them and it was a very good deal to me.
This is my second order of factory seconds, and this was the only defect. One small gouge on the face of the plate. Plates are perfect otherwise and the weight is accurate. I love the more compact size of the "hyper thin" plates. They are actually thinner than 25lb plates I ordered previously.
This is my second set of bumpers from homegrown. Absolutely happy with my first order but these had some issues. The rubber on the edges of the 10 lb plates is super rough and uneven. I don’t think it impacts performance but it doesn’t look good and was disappointing.
Great weights - easy to pick up - seem to be high quality.
Good plates, good price point. Not the prettiest, but not really concerned with that.
Good plates, great price point. One plate did have a factory defect, like a chunk was missing out of it and it was filled back in with glue. I peeled the glue off so now there is a just a gouge in it. Still good plates.
Plates are fine, I see nothing wrong with them being factory seconds. The only confusing part for me was these are Hi Temp plates. Does Hi Temp make homegrown plates? Or did they buy a lot of Hi Temps to sell second hand? I don’t know, but not disappointed- Hi Temps are fine plates.
Awesome
Great value and the whole experience was easy. Mine arrived in just a few days, packaged perfectly to protect from any issues during shipping. I thought there would be some “gas off” time where there was an odor but there wasn’t. Quality weights, that look good, and a reasonable price! Couldn’t be happier.
Incredible price! Unbelievable to get weight less than a dollar per pound. Great customer service and durable product! Can’t wait to order more!
Excellent product. Very welcome addition to the home gym.

Fast delivery. Great product. Will definitely buy more as the need arises
Great quality & looking plate, dependable clips, very effective customer service!
Overall happy with the bumper plates I received. Would have given 5 stars but one of the 45lb bumpers has two protruding bumps as can seen in the picture.
I can't believe these are factory seconds, they look and feel terrific.
Ordering couldn't be easier, shipping couldn't be faster, and the value can't be beat.
Fantastic condition and build
Love the wall rack. It was just what we needed in our garage to properly store our plates. The mount comes with expansion screws, however, I chose to use lag screws instead with appropriate teeth depth to support much more than the maximum weight of the wall rack (large factor of safety). Additionally, I noticed that the mounting holes are 4 inches apart, which is wider than a standard stud (they ended up being on either side of the stud) so I ended up securing it against a 4x6 screwed into the stud.
I rarely ever leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this product that I felt like I had to. It completely exceeded my expectations. The quality is great, installation was incredibly easy, and it cost about half as much as comparable products from competitors. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and would absolutely recommend it.🔥
So far so good! They look great and I am excited to try everything out!!
I love that they're nice & quiet when I workout.
Hard to see in photos but little wear on the sides. Little pieces of rubber fall off every time I lift. But I knew what I signed up for.
