I bought this squat rack along with the barbell and plates. The squat rack functions perfectly fine, although I just had two gripes: - The rack itself is quite narrow. At first, I wasn't sure if I was just wide, but I see that a buyer who left a previous review had the same issue. I can only grip the barbell with my pinky fingers on the little guiding line on the barbell, I can't have a wider grip than that. - Second thing I noticed was that the height on the safeties are not as tall as what appears in the picture. The barbell can slide off of the safeties if you're not careful. I had to remove the pad on the top safeties just to make sure that doesn't happen as a precaution. Aside from that, this rack overall gets the job done, thank you!

Just got it set up today. Instructions seem redundant because there seems to be no clear order to it. So far that’s the only thing I would change for future buyers, more clear and concise instructions. Other than that everything seems sturdy and well fabricated.

The inside width from bar to bar is just short enough that when squatting my hands hit both bars when racking the bar back. Also, the pads on the safety bar/bar holder are amazing but are almost an inch from the angle where the rack is, so if you go to put the bar back by placing it until it stops you aren't even on the pads. it's kind of short as well but I understand that part as the uprights are one solid piece so that's a trade-off.

Super happy with the overall cost and shipment ease, but there was a large, deep scratch on one of the uprights and the instructions for putting it together were almost unreadable english. Beyond that, it is a sturdy rack that does just what I need
